On behalf of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the Canadian Bureau for International Education is organizing a collaboration mission from November 8 to 15, 2009 that will bring together Canadian universities and colleges and their Caribbean and Latin American counterparts with the purpose of creating strong relationships which we hope will lead to the signing of inter-institutional agreements. The idea behind this initiative is to create stronger ties between education actors in Canada and abroad so that more students from Latin America and the Caribbean have the opportunity to take part in a study or research exchange program in Canada.
Participants in this year’s collaboration mission will also attend the 2009 CBIE Conference in Toronto, Internationalization Effectiveness: Strategies for Success, as the event is also an excellent opportunity for Latin American and CARICOM participants to network with CBIE’s vast membership of institutions from across Canada while learning about the latest developments in international education.
From November 10 to 15 will be spent travelling to the Western provinces of Canada to meet with selected Canadian educational institutions.
We have contact Canadian partners taking first steps towards establishing formal partnership agreements and to sign a document that will outline the participant’s interest and intent to conclude partnerships.
A partnership opportunities with Canadian educational institutions.
